Working in Greenport
Greenport's village housing is old, characterful and worth preserving. Original trim, doors, stair parts and porch detailing turn up regularly, and the right approach is usually careful repair — matching profiles, splicing in new material only where needed, and correcting the water intrusion that caused the damage.
The commercial side of the village is just as active. Restaurants, shops and hospitality spaces need millwork, bars, display fittings and fit-out work scheduled around opening hours, and we phase that work so businesses can keep trading.
Village streets are tight, so we plan deliveries and staging carefully and keep sites contained and clean. On a busy street that is as much a part of the job as the carpentry itself.
