Working in Southampton
Southampton has some of the most demanding finish carpentry on the East End. Village homes carry original moldings worth preserving, and estate properties expect millwork that reads as architecture rather than trim. Both require the same thing: profiles scaled correctly to the room and joints that hold up under close inspection.
We do a lot of profile matching here. When an addition meets a hundred-year-old hallway, the new crown has to resolve into the old one without a visible step. That usually means building the profile up from multiple pieces rather than hunting for a stock match that does not exist.
Many Southampton properties are occupied seasonally, which makes scheduling as important as craft. We regularly run larger projects in the off-season and shoulder months so the house is finished and clean before you arrive.
