Working in Sagaponack
Work in Sagaponack is typically custom from end to end — nothing off a shelf, everything specified. That suits how we operate. Cabinetry, paneling, built-ins and trim are fabricated to the drawings and scribed to the house rather than adapted from stock sizes.
Exposure is a real consideration here. Properties sit between open farmland and the ocean, which means wind-driven rain and salt air on exterior woodwork. Material selection, fastener choice and flashing detail matter as much as the visible carpentry.
These are usually long projects. We plan them as such — sequencing trades, ordering long-lead millwork early and protecting completed work while other trades are still moving through the house.
